Sofia chatting with Queen Miranda

Here’s the official scoop on the new show airing on Disney Junior below.

Disney will introduce its first little girl princess with the debut of “Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess,” an enchanting, music-filled animated Disney Junior television movie for the whole family, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (9:00-10:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Junior, the 24-hour channel. Production begins on “The 7D” – a modern take on the Seven Dwarfs

A cartoon version of the Seven Dwarfs brought to life on Disney Junior. Sounds intriguing right?  Titled, “THE 7D”, this new animated series is a comedic take on the world of Seven Dwarfs, in a contemporary storybook world. I wonder if Snow White will ever make a cameo?
Take a peek at the image of THE 7D here and see how they picture BASHFUL, SLEEPY, DOPEY, HAPPY, GRUMPY, DOC, SNEEZY
Scheduled to debut in 2014 on Disney Junior and geared towards ages 2-7.
I imagine this will be a hit if it’s anything like Disney Junior’s recent releases – Doc McStuffins and Jake & The Neverland Pirates. My kids are OBSESSED with those shows and can not get enough of them.
Here’s the official scoop on the synopsis from the Disney Press release info:
The series takes place in the whimsical world of Jollywood, where Queen Delightful relies on the 7D – Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy and Doc – to keep the kingdom in order. Standing in their way are two laughably evil villains, Grim and Hildy Gloom, who plot to take over the kingdom by stealing the magical jewels in the 7D’s mine. With seven very distinct personalities, the 7D always manage to save the day and send Grim and Hildy running back to their evil lair to try another day.

Peter Pan Pays a Visit to Jake and the Neverland Pirates

Jake & The Never Land Pirates Holiday Episode to Air

Can you think of a better combination than Pirates and the Holiday spirit for your preschoolers and young kids? I can’t !

This episode will not disappoint and Moms will love it too.

We were so excited to view a preview screener of Jake & The Never Land Pirates holiday themed episodes set to air on December 2nd at 8:30 AM ET/PT on the Disney Channel.

Can you tell my 3 year old son Kyle loves pirates???  This is definitely inspired from his watching Jake, Izzy, and Cubby on Disney Junior.

“It’s a Winter Never Land” and “Hook on Ice” will excite all your kidlets if they are gearing up for the holidays like my 3 year old son Kyle and 6 year old daughter Kenzie. My kids are obsessed with all things “holiday” and since Jake & The Never Land Pirates is their favorite TV since it hit last winter, it’s no surprise they’d adore this seasonal themed episode.

Think lots of snow, ice, and of course Peter Pan magically delivering presents for the pirate crew to celebrate “Winter Treasure Day.”

Take a peek at the trailer here:

If you haven’t yet tuned into Jake & the Never Land Pirates, it’s a must watch or must DVR show in our household and I encourage you to let this be one of the shows you let your kids watch.

Disney Junior is our favorite channel for Kenzie and Kyle with programming just for young children in the mornings. Jake is our favorite show and Sharkey & Bones perform “pirate rock” that will get you all up and dancing – their original tunes really are irresistible. We even listen to the Jake & The Never Land Pirates CD in the car!

Disclosure: We received this holiday screener episode for free and earlier this year received a sample DVD of the new release of Jake & the Never Land Pirates. As always all thoughts and opinions are our own and we’ve been raving about Jake and the Never Land Pirates since it aired for the first time last February.
